The carrier may be used singly or in combination of two or more kinds, such as LDPE/LLDPE and LLDPE/HDPE. The composite carrier is the same as EVA and CPE, and has good compatibility with most resins, so that its masterbatch has wide adaptability. The single carrier should theoretically be identical to the matrix resin being filled, so that compatibility is best. However, it is practically impossible to produce too many kinds of master batches, and thus the carrier resin is similar to the resin to be filled.

The amount of the Color Masterbatch carrier is generally from about 15% to about 30% of the masterbatch, and sometimes only about 5% is used to reduce the cost of the white masterbatch.
