In recent years, there has even been a downward trend. In the first half of 2024, the production of plastic products was 36.194 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.5%. The continuous increase in added value of rubber and plastic products manufacturing industry indicates to some extent that China's plastic products industry is slowly undergoing structural transformation and constantly moving towards high-end direction.

Plastic products have a wide range of applications in daily life, industrial production, and engineering construction. Data shows that in the first half of 2024, the production of plastic film in China's plastic products reached 8.702 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.58%, accounting for 24% of the total plastic products, making it the most common type of plastic product; The production of daily plastic products was 2.829 million tons, achieving rapid growth in the environment of consumer recovery, with a year-on-year increase of 7.05%; Other plastic products, such as plastic pipes and plastic woven products, also have a relatively high proportion, accounting for over 70% of the products in the entire industry.
